Temporary Policies Coverage from 1 to 12 Months

Just a note for those of you who contribute to or pay for your health insurance, RI as of June 2002 lost the last of the carriers which once offered affordable comprehensive health insurance plans to individuals, self-employed and small businesses in RI. These carriers that once spent many years in RI and now are no longer here offering their permanent individual and small group plans like they used to, they include companies like John Alden, Fortis, Mutual of Omaha, Trustmark, The Principal Financial Group, Celtic Insurance Company and others. If you would like to help, let your state representatives know that we need to amend our RI Dept Of Health's Health Plan Certifications Rules and Regulations and make RI an insurance company friendly state that welcomes competition and choice.

Currently in RI we offer Blue Cross and United Health Care with both companies offering coverage to groups as little as one and I will be happy to get you a quote at your request. If you don't qualify for some reason, or find these plans unaffordable then we offer some term plans, Temporary Policies Coverage from 1 to 12 Months as some clients are using these as opposed to no coverage at all.
